It's a lovely little piece, with the exception of the choice of hue for the background tree. So many people have trouble with unnatural greens -- using colors too close to tube. The view of the screen is too small to tell much about the origin of the lines, with the exception of the small lines above the enlarged signature, which are indeed smaller than the signature line. I don't recognize the signature, and the recent date makes it unlikely that the artist is anyone who could be widely or easily recognizable. | ||

I found this little piece in a flea market. 6 1/2"' x 9 ". At first I thought it was an original w/c. but the black linework is so fine that think it is a print on w/c paper and then handcolored by the artist. can't decide on the artist's name. can anyone help? can anyone identify the location? I think its worth the $1.50 I paid for it. don'ti you? DALE   |
