Marie, I use linen tape, the kind you must wet, and haven't had problems, but i did have some trouble when I used the self adhesive kind Dale |

I shipped a painting to a show a month or so ago, and the painting came loose from the hinges. I shipped the painting in an airfloat box. The painting was a full sheet 22x30 on 300lb. paper. I used the Lineco gummed hinges when I framed the piece almost a year ago. Anyhow, I have to ship a couple of other paintings in the next few weeks, and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to keep the painting connected to the hinges during shipping. |
